Job Descriptions

Teller

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Processing deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, issuing money orders, cashier checks
  • Cross selling bank products
  • Selling travelers checks, savings bonds, redeeming savings bonds, cash advances
  • Answering customer questions and resolving related account problems SKILLS

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 10 Key skills Familiarity with Word and Excel Must be organized, detail-oriented

Deposit Operations Clerk

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and file adjustments received via the Federal Reserve Bank
  • Researching of differences and posting of corrections to customers accounts.
  • Assist in researching customers’ records. Research of customer information for RBC’s legal
    department.
  • Daily reconciling of various general ledger accounts.
  • Process and reconcile FRB chargebacks. Work with the MSB area, customers and TRIP system to get
    return item information to customers in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for the returning and reconciling of return items.
  • Daily review of date, amount, signature and endorsement and follow-up as needed on large items.
  • Handle calls and emails and communicate with all employees including Banking Centers to resolve
    current and outstanding issues and/or complaints.
  • Provide support on all MSB activity as needed (chargeback items, large dollar review, account
    research, Adjustments, fraud investigation, etc…)
  • Provide support and backup in all areas of the Operations Department.
    Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience within the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Internet.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good reconciliation skills
